Elements that Bring People Together

Recently, my son joined Cub Scouts. My observation after the first meeting is that this is a great way to bring children from disparate backgrounds together to participate in activities they might not otherwise be exposed to. Scouting is a great way to engage with our youth and helps them learn at a young age how to work together to give back to the community.

Thanks to a True Philanthropist

Over the weekend, the City of Omaha lost a true philanthropist, Walter Scott, Jr. Mr. Scott, who was 90, passed away, leaving behind an amazing legacy for our community.
